Send me an online instant message and
I'll give you a call
Go to www.skype.com and
download Skype. It's free and doesn't contain any adware
or spyware. Install it on your computer. Set
yourself up with a new screen name, then add my screen name
raynerhoward to your contacts. Send me an instant
message with your name, phone number and email address. I
will then call you and help you get set up with GoToMyPC. If for some
reason you're unable to send an instant message, send an email
to
rayner@raynerhoward.com.
Start GoToMyPC so I can remotely view
your computer screen
Go to www.gotomypc.com and
enter the Email: and Password: that I give you over the phone.
At the bottom of the page, click the link that says "Enable this
computer." Follow the instructions to finish the
installation and set your computer up as a GoToMyPC host.
I will then be able to view your computer screen and if
necessary, control your mouse cursor.
Purchase blocks of time
You may purchase blocks of time in
30-minute
or
1-hour increments.

The clock doesn't start ticking until everything is set up and
ready to go.
Disconnect after session is finished
After we've finished, right-click on the GoToMyPC icon and
select "End Session". This disconnects me from your PC.
Right-click on the GoToMyPC icon again, this time select
"Preferences". Select "Manually" and click OK. This
prevents GoToMyPC from starting up automatically when Windows
starts. Right-click on the GoToMyPC icon one last time and
select "Quit". For your privacy, your computer can no
longer be remotely accessed via GoToMyPC.
